Julie Klam "You Had Me At Woof"

I knew this one was going to make me cry. This was an excellent book. Reading a book written by a dog lover about dogs is like having a conversation with an old friend. I would like to read her other book.

Yet another short story author that forgets when you only have 15-40 pages to tell a story you have to suck the reader in on the first page.

Book Thirty
Day Sixty Nine

Caitlin Macy "Spoiled"

Another story story book... why do I do this to myself? I don't like short stories and yet I think I've read 3-4 books of them since I started this. Well... let's see how she does.

Diana, Liz, Amanda and Dan Welch "The Kids Are All Right"

This book was fantastic. It was so awesome to read the synopsis of their lives from four different point of views. The things they remembered and the ones they didn't... this was a great read.

Jenny McCarthy "Love, Lust and Faking It"

Daylight Savings really messed me up this year. I was sound asleep by 9pm every night this past week so I didn't read at all. But I finally finished. Way to go Jenny... another good one. A little preachy at time but she is currently studying Buddhism so it makes sense. Still funny as ever.

I loved all the pictures in the book. While watching LA Ink I don't always love Kat's work but I can appreciate her as an artist.

Kat used to be cool... like when she was on Miami Ink. But now she's Hollywood... self important. I hope this book is written in the spirit of Old Kat.

Robyn Harding "The Journal of Mortifying Moments"

I enjoyed this book. Not giving anything away but the main character's therapist has her record in a journal her top 10 mortifying moments having to do with the opposite sex. Certainly makes you think what would be in your journal?
