Book 124... let's try this again

Day 561
Ariel Sabar "Heart of the City"

I think this is true short stories with NY as the backdrop. Sounds interesting....

Book 124 is a no-go

Day 561

I can't do it... the character has a British accent and uses too many words I can't understand. I need to move on.

Day 556
Allison Pearson "I Don't Know How She Does It"

I've heard a lot about this book and it was all positive... so here I go.

Book 123 Done

Day 556
James Patterson "Hide and Seek"

Hmm... this was a good story but not at all like his normal books. I think I like his style better now even if it's because he's working with other authors.

Book 123

Day 553
James Patterson "Hide and Seek"

This is from 1996 but I don't think I ever read it... or if I did I don't remember it. This is old school Patterson and I bet I'm going to love it.

Book 122 Done

Day 553
Rainbow Rowell "Attachments"

I believe this is her first book... it was pretty good. Interesting story about a man hired as internet security for a company so he monitors the company emails. He ends up reading emails between two friends and gets very interested in their story and the characters develop from there.

Book 122

Day 547
Rainbow Rowell "Attachments"

Not sure what this one is about so we'll see what happens... I am loving flying through books on the Kindle.

Book 121 Done

Day 547
Post-It Note Diaries: 20 Stories of Youthful Abandon, Embarrassing Mishaps and Everyday Adventure

Some of the stories were funny. Some of the post-its were funny. Unfortunately they were never funny at the same time.

Book 121

Day 547
Post-It Note Diaries: 20 Stories of Youthful Abandon, Embarrassing Mishaps and Everyday Adventure

Seems like this could be interesting and hopefully funny.

Book 120 Done

Day 547
James Patterson "Honeymoon"

Another good book... its always so fun reading his books.

Book 120

Day 544

I don't know how I missed this one. I read the synopsis and it doesn't sound familiar. Love him... yay!

Book 119 Done

Day 544
Darian Gee "Friendship Bread"

Wow... I was really drawn into this book. The writing was great, the characters were well described and they felt like old friends immediately.

Book 119

Day 540
Darien Gee "Friendship Bread"

I am running out of chick lit Kindle books available from the library... so I don't know anything about this book but hopefully it's interesting.

Book 118 Done

Day 540
Kristin Hannah "Home Front"

Ugh this was amazing... she's extraordinary. I don't know how she writes so well but she does... every time. Wow.

Book 118

Day 539
Kristin Hannah "Home Front"

YAY! A new Kristin Hannah book... a good day! I've been waiting for a while to get the email from the library that said it was available. Perfect timing since I just finished the last one this morning. Exciting to go into a weekend with a great book to read!

Book 117 Done

Day 539
Jacquelyn Mitchard "Second Nature"

I really enjoyed reading this book... the ending left something to be desired. That always ruins a book for me.

Book 117

Day 534
Jacquelyn Mitchard "Second Nature"

She wrote The Deep End of the Ocean and a few other books I remember enjoying. I feel like I'm flying through books on the Kindle and that makes me happy.

Book 116 Done

Day 534
Jennifer Close "Girls In White Dresses"

It was a cute read. A group of girls who hang out through college and what becomes of them relationship wise through the years. Light weekend read...

Book 116

Day 533
Jennifer Close "Girls In White Dresses"

Back to Kindle reading... borrowed this from the library. This was on my list of books to read so I'm glad I found it on the library website. First novel for this author.

Book 115 Done

Day 533
Jodi Picoult "Lone Wolf"

She is amazing. Another fantastic book and I'm so sad it ended. I was a little concerned about the wolf theme but she delivered a great story and her characters are always so interesting.

And now we wait a year for her next one...

Book 115

Day 531
Jodi Piccoult "Lone Wolf"

Oh I love you Jodi and I've been waiting a long time for another book from you...

Book 114 Done

Day 531
Elizabeth Gilbert "Eat, Pray, Love"

Wow... I found myself really enjoying this book. She split it into the three sections and I loved each one for what it brought. Very interesting. I need to soak this in for a while.

I would love to say I am not going to read another book while I think about this one but 2 days ago my favorite author's book came from Amazon. And though I'm currently obsessed with my new Kindle this is a hardback so I'm off to go read another book.
