I am so glad I was able to go to the memorial before I read this book. It helped me appreciate all the work and the thought that went into it. I highly recommend going to the site and reading this book. I can only imagine how sad the museum is going to be.

Wow one hundred books in a little over 400 days. It's been a good year of reading... looking forward to this next year.
I picked this book to be number 100. I thought it was a good milestone book. We were just in NY two weeks ago at the Memorial with my dad for First Responder's Day. He's a Sgt with the NY Port Authority Police Dept.  It was breathtaking...

Actually finished on day 412 but I forgot to post. I'm fairly obsessed with her at the moment. I just love the way she writes, the local references and the characters are like old friends. Two books by other people (one about the 9/11 memorial) and then we will be back to more Lisa!
