Day 639
Mindy Kaling "Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?"
I am beginning another book while reading Steve Jobs. I normally never read two books at the same time but Steve Jobs is almost 600 pages. I've read about 50 so far. It's interesting... and so far well written enough that it's keeping me entertained. But it's a biography so there's a lot of information and long stories. I need to read something else to take away the monotony.
I really like Mindy Kaling. I watched her on The Office and I saw her interviewed a few times. She seems pretty funny.
Just a girl who loves to read wondering how long it takes to read 500 books... and wondering even more what she'll have learned when she's done.

Book 145
Day 632
Walter Isaacson "Steve Jobs"
Not sure if I'm going to make it through this one. I'm not usually a fan of non-fiction unless it's a really interesting subject. Steve Jobs is pretty interesting but I don't know how much I'm really going to care. Let's see how this goes.
Book 144 Done
Day 632
Bethenny Frankel "Skinnydipping"
Very entertaining... she drew from her own life experience and wrote an embellished fictional version of it.

Book 144
Day 631
Bethenny Frankel "Skinnydipping"
Her first novel... as much as I love her I was unable to read "A Place of Yes". Too preachy for me. I'm hoping this novel will keep me entertained.

Day 631
Jen Lancaster "Jeneration X"
This was not my favorite of hers. The jist of the book was that it's time to grow up and here are some funny stories and a life lesson at the end of each chapter. Some of the stories were really funny. Some I didn't understand why they were supposed to be interesting. She's also known for putting footnotes throughout her books and they are usually really funny. A lot of these seemed like she was trying too hard.
But when she makes me laugh I laugh pretty hard and she did accomplish that multiple times so overall a good read.

Day 626
Meredith Mileti "Aftertaste"
This was well-written for a first book. The story moved along nicely, the characters were interesting and you cared where it all ended. Hope she writes another one soon....
