Adam Corolla "In Fifty Years We'll All Be Chicks"
It translated just fine... not the whole book but some of his stories and punchlines made me laugh...loud. There were also sections I read to Jeremy which is always a good sign.

Anne Tyler "Back When We Were Grown-ups"
I actually enjoyed this book... it was slow to start and maybe a little slow in the middle and end as well but the story overall was interesting. You really felt for the main character as she struggled to figure out who she really is. It ended a bit abruptly but for some reason authors seem to like to do that. I need closure so I'm not a big fan of the sudden end.
