Heartbreaking... I was sobbing this morning. She writes very well so as you watch her and this little boy (who's mother was a drug addict and he didnt know her) grow close just to know he will be taken from her is terrible.

I have not a clue in the world what this is about but once I told people I just saw The Notebook for the first time at 31 yrs old in 2012 they told me I needed to see that movie. So instead I'll do them one better and read the book. I'm sure it's better anyway.

Stacey Ballis "Off The Menu"
I thought this was a good book but you can tell I read too many mysteries! Every time she went into detail about something between the main character and her boyfriend I would expect the other shoe to drop regarding that scene.
Loved the characters, loved the storyline... she's fun to read.
